When hunger and loneliness start to get the better of him, things take an emotional turn for the worse.

What is about to happen is an unlikely friendship between the gangster and the child. Their relationship gradually forces Baththa to look at his own life, his family and the person he has become. Instead of relying solely on action, the film on the vulnerability and the transformation of the characters relies on humour, innocence and emotional moments. The film has received special accolades in particular for its portrayal of the emotional moments without resorting to melodrama.
